Location! Perfect for walking to key places. Friendly staff. Great value”

That the room was comfortable. Easy to get to with the Subway very close by. I liked that they had small chocolates in the lobby to eat. The snacks were very good. Overall, the staff was very good and felt comfortable leaving my bag there while a room became open and after check out until I came back to get it. Will stay here again if I can get a lower floor (1st or 2nd).

Location was great, a few paces from the subway. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was reasonably spacious and the bed comfortable. Nice character in the decor.

Perfectly situated for traipsing around Chelsea, the Meatpacking District and the West Village. Light fixtures, tiled walls and faux metallic floor looked new. The water pressure was good, too. Gilchrist & Soames toiletries further freshened things up.

The greatest amenity was the staff, which was flawlessly welcoming and helpful. It does offer what many pricier hotels can’t seem to get a grip on: local calls and Wi-Fi at no extra charge. In terms of novelty, coziness and price, it’s hard to beat! Book early. It took several calls before a room opened up.

“I feel like I discovered a hidden gem. Great value, great accommodations, great location, great service.
Charlie was a delightful ambassador I’m telling everyone I know that this is the place to stay while in NYC.”

“The best kept secret in NYC! What a great time the three girls from TN had in December!!!!! We will never stay any place else!!!!! Great presentation Jay!!!”

“We spent 4 nights in the lovely, charming and cosy room dedicated to Debbie Reynolds. Chelsea Pines’ staff was very kind, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. And we loved the big cat Charlie too! Chelsea Pines is just few seconds walk from the nearest subway station, and almost everything in New York can be reached in a very short time.”

“My stay at the Chelsea Pines Inn was the most Amazing Surprise! This was my 1st time staying here and I was greeted with such Warmth and Love. Thank you to the entire staff and of course, Charlie! You made my 50th Birthday extra extra special! Thank you to my new friends in NYC!”

“I miss CPI — It always feel like I’m coming home when I walk through the front door.”

“The place is so cute- each room decked out in its own actor/actress posters. The decorating was stylish and the bathrooms were nice. Also very clean and the rooms were spacious… The staff was friendly and helpful- excited to tell us about the local restaurants and give directions… The price was right too.”

“The Chelsea Pines is my very favorite place to stay while visiting NYC. Although the location, comfort and details (beds, sheets, towels, lighting, decor) are exceptional, the real value of the Pines is in the terrific people who staff the place with warmth, friendly and humorous attitude and a thorough knowledge of the city. If you know NYC, you’ll be happy at the Pines, and if you are new to NYC, you’ll get to know it at the Pines in a very comfortable manner. Plus, the location is ideal for exploring the city with ease!”
